Where are we located?

Central New Jersey is our base. The studio/office is in Hightstown where it has continually operated for decades. Most communication is by phone, zoom or email.

I'm flexible on portrait  locations - you can say I'm mobile friendly. Portrait sessions/shoots are frequently photographed at your home (indoors or outdoors) or at a near-by park.

I am Scott Caster. I'm generally referred to as a photographer, yet personally, consider myself to be a facilitator/coordinator of family members having a portrait. I am pretty impressive around children, a motivator to reluctant spouses LOL, and an all-round chaos eliminator to everyone.

How does it work? 

THERE ARE THREE STEPS

Step 1  PORTRAIT SESSION ----- A full portrait session is approximately one hour of family, interactive fun.

Step 2  PORTRAIT SELECTION -- At either your home or on line (or both). Bring plenty of tissues for tears of joy!

Step 3  PORTRAIT DELIVERY ---- Right to your door.

 

Should our dog be in the portrait?

Of course! Dogs are family, too!

 

I want to book a session, but I'm feeling nervous about it...

Everyone is a little nervous! It's normal. Once we get into action, you and your family will have a great time and a very positive family moment! I promise!

And what if I need a little "help" looking my best?

I use complimentary lighting to make skin tones look younger. I know how to photograph at angles that create a slimming effect. I use retouching and enhancing techniques that bring out the best in every family member.

I guarantee you will be thrilled!

How about guidance in how to dress everyone?

We want everyone to look their best. Yes, we’ll talk. We’ll even send you our on-line “Clothing Guide.”

I have no idea how to pose; will you tell me what to do?

Yes, I will absolutely show you how to pose, where to look, and how to do it all. The trick is to do it naturally and comfortably. YOU can do this! Frankly, the way I work is smooth and fast. You may not even know you're being photographed. All you have to do is try to ease your mind and have fun!

Do portrait collections include digital image-files?

Yes! Digital files are essential for "backing up" your portraits. And, of course, they're useful for holiday cards and social media.
